Moby Dick je američki igrani film snimljen 1956. u režiji Johna Hustona. Po žanru je kombinacija drame i pustolovnog filma, a predstavlja adaptaciju istoimenog romana Hermana Melvillea. Radnja započinje 1840-ih u Novoj Engleskoj i prikazuje kako posada kitolovca Pequod odlazi na more kako bi uhvatila velikog bijelog kita sa čime je opsjednut obogaljeni kapetan Ahab (čiji lik tumači Gregory Peck).

Moby Dick je predstavljao dotada najvjerniju adaptaciju Melvilleovog romana, ali također jedan od najskupljih i najambicioznijih projekata u tadašnjem Hollywoodu, koji se snimao u nekoliko zemalja. Huston, koji je producirao film, godinama ga je pokušavao snimiti, originalno namijenivši glavnu ulogu svom ocu Walteru, koji je, međutim umro. Zbog toga je angažiran Gregory Peck sa kojim se, međutim, nije slagao na setu. Još veći su problemi bili sa scenaristom Rayem Bradburyjem, koji je kasnije tvrdio kako se Huston tiranski odnosio prema članovima ekipe i o tome napisao 1992. godine napisao roman Green Shadows, White Whale.

Moby Dick je na kraju završio kao veliki komercijalni promašaj, a Peck i Huston su se trajno posvađali. Steven Spielberg ga je, međutim, djelomično koristio kao inspiraciju za svoj film Ralje te bez uspjeha pokušao ishoditi dozvolu da koristi njegove scene.
