Fylkets totale areal 5 354,33 km² hvorav 1,89 km² vann. Ved folketellingen i 2010 hadde det 1 311[1] innbyggere. Fylkesete er Harrison[1] som også er største by.
Historie
Sioux County ble grunnlagt i 1877[1] og har fått navnet etter Sioux (amerikansk urfolk, indianerstamme eller en av de opprinnelige nasjoner (stammer)).
