モーションレス・イン・ホワイト (英: Motionless in White）は、アメリカ合衆国,ペンシルベニア州, スクラントンにて2005年に結成されたメタルコアバンドである。全員が強烈なゴスファッションに身を包んでいる。バンド名はEighteen Visionsの"Motionless and White"が由来である。

ボーカルのクリス・“モーションレス”・セルーリは、自分たちの音楽はメタルであるという強い自負を持っており、それ故に「スクリーモ」とカテゴライズされる事を不満に思っている[1]。

略歴

2005年、当時、高校生だったメンバーによって結成。

2010年10月12日、デビューアルバム『Creatures』をリリースし、全米ビルボード200にて初登場175位を記録。

2012年8月11日、Hook The Trigger Vol.2にて初来日。

2012年11月13日、2ndアルバム『Infamous』をリリース。プロデューサーにJason Suecof、Tim Sköldを起用。 ゲストにSoilworkのBjörn Strid、Bleeding ThroughのBrandan Schieppatiらが参加。

2014年9月16日、3rdアルバム『Reincarnate』をリリース。 ゲストにCradle of FilthのDani Filth、IN THIS MOMENTのMaria Brink、Tim Sköldらが参加。

2016年6月22日、新曲"570"と共にRoadrunner Recordsへの移籍を発表。

2016年8月31日、リード曲にChrisがゲスト参加した日本のVAMPSのシングル「INSIDE OF ME feat. Chris Motionless」がリリース。

2017年5月5日、Roadrunner Records移籍後初となる4thアルバム『Graveyard Shift』をリリース。 ゲストにKornのJonathan Davisが参加。

2019年6月7日、5thアルバム『Disguise』をリリース。

2022年6月10日、6thアルバム『Scoring The End Of The World』をリリース。同月21日、同作が初週で29,500枚を売り上げ、ビルボードチャートで12位を獲得[2]。
