サイクリンC: cyclin C)は、ヒトではCCNC遺伝子にコードされるタンパク質である[5][6]

CCNC遺伝子にコードされるサイクリンCは、サイクリンファミリーに属するタンパク質である。サイクリンCはサイクリン依存性キナーゼ8(英語版)と相互作用し、RNAポリメラーゼIIの大サブユニットのC末端ドメインのリン酸化を誘導する。この遺伝子のmRNAレベルは細胞周期のG1期にピークに達する。この遺伝子には異なるアイソフォームをコードする2つの転写バリアントが見つかっている[6]

相互作用

サイクリンCはエストロゲン受容体α[7]サイクリン依存性キナーゼ8(英語版)と相互作用することが示されている[7][8][9][10][11]
