Pour le prix 1993 uniquement, la catégorie a été scindée en deux, pour récompenser de manière distincte le meilleur roman court et la meilleure nouvelle longue ; les nommés et les vainqueurs de ces deux catégories ont été regroupés ici en une seule pour simplifier la lisibilité.
