"Fari" trasnlates roughly to grand and expanding. "Borz" translates to one's body or profile. This name is cited in Shahnameh (the book of the kings, Ferdowsi' masterpiece) where Fariborz is son of Kay-Kavoos who is son of Kay-Ghobad.
