Professional career

Toomey previously served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1989 to 1991.[1] On November 6, 2018, Toomey was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives where he represents the Hillsborough 32 district. Toomey assumed office on December 5, 2018. Toomey is a Democrat.[2] Toomey endorsed Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries.[3]

Personal life

Toomey resides in Nashua, New Hampshire.[4] Toomey is married and has five children,[1] including U.S. Representative Val Hoyle.[5]
