Balatopar is a village in Almaty Region of south-eastern Kazakhstan. It is the administrative center of the Balatopar rural district (KATO code - 193659100).[1] Population: 1,918 (2009 Census results);[2] 1,836 (1999 Census results).[2][3]

Geography

The village is located 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) to the northeast of the northern shore of lake Itishpes.[4][5]
